| While we look forward for Josh and excited for him, I have to prepare myself when he leaves us and stays 8 hours away from home. Now I know what Mom felt when one of her children leaves home. |

Hey Sissy
It's so GOOD to know, that we're going to have another COLLEGE GRAD in the family.
I'm so happy for Josh for this is a major accomplishment! For those of you who don't know, Josh (like Jess) worked hard with school and work. It wasn't easy but he did it.
Sister, the empty-nest syndrome is real but it doesn't have to be a negative. Look at it this way, You and Pat still have your church, work, us and each other and of course, L. Pat (I don't think he's going to leave you guys anytime soon - He painted a room, something the other 2 never did lol! ).
Give Joshie, my love and tell him, he is something SPECIAL.._________________
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God,
and in his good time he will honor you.
Give all your worries and cares to God,
for he cares about what happens to you.
1 Peter 5:6-7

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOSH! I am happy for you cuz.....GOOD JOB! It's a good feeling I know...and you should thank your parents for that, because without their love and support you would't have made it this far.
To everyone else: It can be done....it just take you to work hard in acheiveing that goal....you have to WANT IT....I, on the other hand had the opportunity to go to college, but I didn't and now I wish that had gone right after high school. I am currently taking online classes but it's much more complicated now than it would of been before....If you wait til later...you will have more bills and then you would have to set your priorities first....doing it right after high school...your only priority would be college and studying...with me...it's work, Chelsie, Ray and a new member to the family...BILLS....lol........I have a managerial position with GPSS, but in order for me to move up higher I need a degree.....so basically I am stuck.....yeah! you can get a high position with out a degree, but not as high....and you STILL HAVE TO WORK HARD FOR IT......because I've proven myself and I work hard to get where I am at now.....and I KNOW THE REST OF MY COUSINS CAN DO THE SAME.....IT JUST TAKES YOU TO WANT TO DO IT....
WAY GO TO JOSH!! I, as your older cousin.....lol....am so proud of you!! GO FOR IT AND DON'T LET ANYTHING GET IN YOUR WAY OF YOUR DREAMS.... |

Yes keep up the good work Josh!
Cher, that true what you said. Its never too late to get a degree. I don't have kids yet, but with me, all the stuff I learned from kindergarden through high school are starting to fade away and be forgotten as lots of what had been taught in the classrooms, are not necessarily something that is required in the line of work I'm in. But for you all that do have kids, you'll get a free refresher course every once in a while as you'll be required to help them with their homework. I think I'll break out the ol' flash cards and review my multiplication skills.
